What's so great about Gerbils?
- Gerbils are friendly, curious and are naturally tame; they rarely bite!
- Gerbils are very active during the day, unlike the nocturnal hamster
- Gerbils are the least smelly of the rodents--their natural habitat is desert, which means they drink very little, and therefore urinate very little
- Gerbils get along great in same-sex pairs
